Breaking grip
Let me put on this smilejust for now
so I can manage before I have to sleep
Let me laugh and honestly be happy
and leave that sad music
those painful lyrics somewhere I can't find them
Don't let my smile break
away
and melt into tears
Though I feel my body shaking
I'll try and shrug it off
because they don't want to know
that behind my smile
that makes them believe they are helping
My tears are burning like fire
