CAN I ASK YOU SOMETHING?

''Can I ask you something old man? ''

''Ask me what , Young? ''

'' What it's like? ''

'' What what like? ''

'' You know it''?

'' You've been there , aint you're? ''

'' Where? '' , '' what you on about , kid? ''

'' That place '' , '' you know'',

The old man was puzzled ,

The young lad was as puzzled ,

'' What did you do , did you do or see what

They say gos on there? '',

''Why do you ask , lad? ''

''cos I'm going there , I need too know , old man ,

The old man looked at the youth ,

Then looked beyond the kid , he was only a kid , after all said and dun ,

'' Lad , just what can I tell your? '' ,

'' You'll , know soon enough ''

The old man , got up and shuffled off ,

The lad , watched the old man goo , no answer's too his question's,

He looked forlorn , at the old mans stooped back , reseeding away.
