O.k so i guess it isn't really a poem & not very good
but it is just something funny to laugh at.
[& it is true].

A FUNNY Story.

Everyone had reservations
about me doing a chef's cooking course
due to my pass history
of accidents that make me bleed
like when on a pie you pour sauce.

Take my latest, for example
4 stitches in my finger for everone to see
but it was my knife that did it to me.
[ I was cleaning it and opss I ran
my FINGER along the blade instead
of the cloth.]

But if you think that's bad
my next tale
might leave you feeling
[for me] sad.

2 years ago I was cutting
watermelon at work
when again,
my finger got hurt
& I was wearing the safety glove.....
but on the WRONG hand.

So as you can see
I tend to be a little silly
knives and Me
should not be mixed
esp. as I have to
go to the doctor to get my
finger [again] stitched.

Ouch! I don't get along with knives either, and have the scars (30 stitches to prove it) If treated with a degree of respect, your flesh and fingers they will not disect.

I understand that these things can happen! My mom bleeds when she walks into our kitchen. We keep band-aids handy for her. Thankfully, she has allowed my sister and me to take over the daily cooking. lol.. funny story! Thank you for sharing!

Well it certainly brought a smile to my face. And a few winces, can't stand pain. And i am just glad you have all you fingers still.
