This is about a person whom I admire deeply... With her story, I got back my faith in God. For roman Catholics, she is known as the girl who fought demons until her death just because of her love towards God and others.
nervous about what's coming next,
knowing her sorrow is just about to start,
knowing she'll have no rest.
Eight demons control her body,
she has no more control about herself,
whispering words of hate right beside her ears,
she screams, but everyone is deaf.
"I will give up my life for others"
she said to God,
her life was no longer hers,
but she didn't say "no more".
One normal afternoon,
during a short walk around the park,
her boyfriend calmly holding her hand,
she saw more than what she could ever assume.
"It's the Holy Mother of God,
and she's smiling at me"
Anneliese turned to see
what she could have never thought.
"Mother, why do I suffer like this?"
"Anneliese, the Heavens do not ignore your pain.
You can do what you please,
if you decide to suffer, your sorrow will not be in vain."
She said yes,
and suffered for eight years
the presence of other beasts
but her sorrow was blessed.
She kneeled with her broken knees,
to pray for every sinner,
pray for me, Anneliese,
You've turned me into a believer.
She's in Heaven now,
and I bet she still prays
I don't know how
but she'll always be there
praying for you and me.
