First Secret
This will be
My first secret.
One to keep low,
One to cook
And store
In the larder
Of my mind.
One to savour
From time to time,
Refreshing my
Newly-found resolve,
To keep this secret,
Till it's safe
To let it fly.
And now,
The time has come,
For the secret
To be told.
It's a baby.
Under way,
On her way,
This May.
