Heart and Soul
I would like to redefine "heart"from emotions, intuitions, foolish desires, passions, hormones, conscience
to
will, choice
that place where we weigh and focus emotions, conscience, rational explanations, intuitions, conclusions
and make a decision
I would like to redefine "soul"
from some abstract mysterious thing, beauty
to
that part of us that reacts to and grows like a plant from our decisions, our thoughts, that gives fruit in the form of abilities and virtues
that part of us that lives on after our body dies
Could I do that?
