My mind wants to escape from the mundane and run....

In Distant Places

In distant mountains, where rivers are born as tiny rivulets that bubble and foam

In distant jungles with canopies green where thickets don't allow a single sunbeam

In distant deserts with sand-dunes huge that don't allow shelter or refuge

In distant moors with whispering winds where ruins of castles tell stories of all kinds

In distant seas with emerald waters where dolphins and whales play games together

There my mind wants to escape and run where the real and unreal merge into one! ANUPAM

I love the descriptive imagery you portray here - flashes of scenery from one place to the next. A pleasure to read. Thankyou for sharing.

Regards,
John.

The landscape of a dream we all share at times, beliving we might find ourselves, our happiness, somewhere other than where we are. I'm old enough and weary enough to have learned that the real journey is within and wherever I am.
