Winter in a Small Village

The blue faces

The leering smiles

The ice-crystals around the unseeing eyes

Cry Out!

This year
there was

No Coal!!!

This searing minimalist poem is intense in its brevity and structure. It leaves the reader with visions of stark hopelessness in a Satlinesque world. Extremely well written.

A solid write!
