Unfaith

Our belief

That all others have it wrong

In their faith

Has become our new faith.

Still, I would be glad to argue that so-called secular humanism is peculiarly modest--"austere" is maybe better--in the "faith" commitments it asks its believers to make! Cleverly and concisely provocative.

A lot said using an economy of words. To me, what's always turned me off to most organized religions is the fact that they are all convinced that they have the one and only Truth and everyone else has it wrong. Perhaps it's not just now; maybe it's always been that way. Such has caused calamities such as wars, the Inquisition, and a host of other faithless monstrosities.

Hello Mr Brickman

A truly profound piece.
For though I lack religion in my life, I am not without faith. Especially tonight.
The title recalls the band Faithless, one of my favourites: 'God is a DJ' etc.
I look forward to more from you. Applause!
