I will take what love I can find
If it's the big one that makes me blind
Or if it's not, I don't own the strength to mind
As I am desperate to find
That I've been left behind
That great love future of mine
That I saw in our two fates entwined
But nowadays I'm not the complete fool that pined
For you - I'm the fool redefined
I like to be much more undefined
But I am older and a little wiser combined
And perhaps only pining for you mind
The one that left the stars of my soul realigned
And then in the end was so unkind,
Making me the man who takes what love he can find.
