Just wrote this little ditty just now. About the over use of net to handle songs.

Mee o Mi o Mio

Singing is
So Cathartic
Melodies to uplift
And help the Soul Soar.

iTunes Away
Anchors our Lives in Musick
Swirling dresses
At the Ball, black tie and All.

Sing like a Canary
Does in the Cage to prove
It can, burst into song so joyous.

Birds tweet without the Net
Have been for millions of years.
Birdsong will lift
Hearts to the sky.

As I read this sparrows are quibbling over the seed I tossed out, a cardinal is calling to its mate from the pine tree and doves are waking up under the eaves. Yesterday I heard a catbird, the first in several years. My usual morning music, and no better way to begin one . . . "Melodies to uplift / And help the soul soar" indeed.

Coo!
Well, I enjoy singing very much, though I'm a little untrained of late. So I love this celebration, especially the reference to the Canary, which reminds me of one of my favourite tunes. A new friend had a budgie she doted on, so I'm sure she would appreciate this too.
Lovely!
