When storms brew in Florida, it is an adventure of itself.
Glowering in the distance.
Swiftly coming over my way.
Curtains of rain,
Sheeting down.
Swaying rain bands.
The pouring rain, a million watering cans,
Visible, tangible,
Blotting out the cloud shapes.
Imminent downpour
Marching closer, then is
Here-world disappears.
Stupendous drops
Hurling down-
A common Florida
Summer squall.

Rain Clouds
Pendulous ponderous cloud headsGlowering in the distance.
Swiftly coming over my way.
Curtains of rain,
Sheeting down.
Swaying rain bands.
The pouring rain, a million watering cans,
Visible, tangible,
Blotting out the cloud shapes.
Imminent downpour
Marching closer, then is
Here-world disappears.
Stupendous drops
Hurling down-
A common Florida
Summer squall.
