Nest of Claws

Pinaceous dweller
Leering out from brittle needles-
Crow's scream slits the sky

Vomit, excretion,
Luciferous eyes gleam red-
Vulture is afraid

Two still drops of ink
Staring from a nest of claws-
Mouse mounting the clouds

An intriguing ensemble!
I love the Haiku form and here you excel, as always. The piece reminds me rather of my 'Signals', where another vulnerable creature rides so high above the clouds that she becomes invincible. Your imagery and vocabulary are far superior to mine; well, it's been said before, I'm not the brightest bird on the Bay...
