Monster
She lives within, grabbing hold of meHe pulls me in, her in
Some live in their demons
overcome by it
build a home for it, hide it away there
but let it ravage within
we say it wont take over, make excuses, logical structures meant to cage it
Then he looks me in the eyes
gets under my skin
equally guilty we build a cage between us where it can ravage
but mine was caged
his was free
and I
