Seasonal collage

Winter bracing cold is yet to come
And with it brilliant snow
The gnawing chill of fall is holding firm
a patchwork of leaves and frost.

Yuletides past and present
Warm this swiftly passing season

Blazing hearths
Glowing candles
Delicious scents
Enchanting sounds
Joyful days
Contented nights

And friends

countryfog
"God bless us, each and every one." Collage is such an apt word . . . at no other time of the year do so many sights and sounds and sentiments come together, if we are fortunate, to compose a brief and perfect time if we have and give the gift of gratitude.
