Thoughts of depression...

A Flash of Red

The day I saw a flash of red
I couldn't describe.
Whether it was better to be dying or dead
Or to commit suicide.

So many people say "be thankful for your life"
But what have I to gain?
Only pain and misery
The hated feelings that remain.

How can I convince everyone I'm human
Just like them
Even though they make the same mistakes
It's me they decide to condemn.

But hey, I'm just a screw up
Who people won't miss
If I decide to pick up the knife
And surrender to death's wicked kiss

So should I say "goodbye cruel world"?
I think not
Even though my world has turned
Into neglect that's left to rot

No, I'll pick myself up and dust myself off
And live for another day
Because the tiny bit of hope I have
Will carry me a long way

"No, I'll pick myself up and dust myself off
And live for another day
Because the tiny bit of hope I have
Will carry me a long way"

And another, and another, and another day...
This is the spirit and hang on to it, forget the rest of the stuff...Life is too precious you will learn soon enough...

Welcome to the bay here you will be able to dispel your blues away...Talk to me if you like and I'll tell beautiful is life...I been around and seen a little of it!

((((Hugs to drive some of the gloom dear expressive, or should I say dear only?)))))

Love, xxx, Zoya
