This poem hit me after meeting an amazing girl tonight


Potential

There are gods among us
unnoticed as we distract ourselves with the finest and worst of highs
and lows

Lonely gods

promise of humanity's future
if we survive for long enough to reach it

There are gods among us
enhanced abilities
of what makes us human

Beautiful gods
