a wee write

Like a Swift, She Spills

Like a swift, she spills,
Decadent Sorrow, swooning,
Rivulets of thought
Disturbed by the bullet rain
Body in the swash
Whipped by the waves of conscience
This drowned butterfly

Beautifully composed.

A beautiful little piece, Mr Cormorant.
I admire the fluency in your form, a blended haiku well suited to 'swooning' and 'waves of conscience'. And the imagery here is very deft, I feel.
Applause!

shells
I enjoyed this wee write, brief it maybe, but well written, liked the lines "Rivulets of thought disturbed the bullet rain." A great way to describe both.
