JOURNEYS END

My journey tiring

My mind and brain

Wearing out

Taken many wounds

Cuts deep

No longer healing

Is now my journey

Reaching an ending

By 'Jim' I meant 'Josephus'. Had a bit of a black-out. LOL

There is a melacholic happiness in knowing that your past is longer than your future. In some people (you and Jim among others) it seems to bring an harmonic wisdom. It is our job now to be the silver-backs; aged, gentle and knowledgeable. Our children (biological or not) need us.

Sounds like its time for healing Ken. I would guess there lots of life left in your journey but a few days respite in a quiet space will work wonders in restoring your soul.

God bless

Joe
