The poem with no title ...

Everyone's perfect in there own skin,

Some of us lose and some of us win,

Patience is everything in this day and age,

You can roam around or sulk in this disease ridden cage.

Castles in the sky are nothing but lies,

There is no knight and the dragons will rise,

Take everything with a pinch of salt,

Take everything, it'll all be your fault.

When it all goes wrong and you don't know where to turn,

Sit back and think of the things you need to learn.

What you see is what you get with me,

You can stay here or you can get up and flee.

You can fight,

You can shout,

You can just pretend,

That everythings great and on the mend,

It's easier to let it happen,

Easier to just smile and wave,

Instead of thinking back on the grief they gave.

That's the beauty of it because no mater how hard we try, if you are anything like me, we can't be anything else than what we are - warts and all.
I like this poem because you are clever. As you say, it is easier to just smile and wave. This makes some people really mad but this is usually because they were hoping you would massage their egos and I gave that sort of thing years ago. What you see is what you get.
