Music: Birdy - People help the people
Devon Gundry - At the top of my lungs
and beauty
in such harmonious tones
reminding me of the existence of my heartstrings
The sweet-hearted child
that is taught to hate
The energetic and intelligent youth
that is ignored and branded as a nuisance
The adult that deludes herself
that she needs to be child-like to be loved
that he needs to act without boundaries or love
to achieve success
These cages we lock ourselves in
definitions of what human nature is
numbing us from our true selves
To change the world
is to inspire the hearts of individuals
to love and strive for better
to create a community that
embraces, loves and nurtures unselfishly
to build social systems and structures of governance
that are based on duty and service
not power and competition
She cries out her song of agony
as we build beauty
in the ashes of her old life
She, the human race
