I wrote this on a whim, frustration and stress... This helped a bit..
Images flash before my eyes
I wade through the darkness
I face the lies
I face the beast
With such cold eyes
The beast is me
My weak disguise
The beast that hurt so many
The fiend that fought my friends
Tonight I make my stand
Tonight, I face myself
I see who I was
I fear what I've become
At my side no one is left
This is my own fair punishment
This is own fate
I will face it without regret
I will face it
For once, I will face it
I cross the threshold
I enter the mirror
I enter this world of forgotten terrors
A child of five in a corner he cries
A child of ten, in a crowd he stares
A child of thirteen, he laughs for once
A beast at eighteen, tonight he dies
A man at last
For the first time,
I live

To face oneself
Hours pass, time goes byImages flash before my eyes
I wade through the darkness
I face the lies
I face the beast
With such cold eyes
The beast is me
My weak disguise
The beast that hurt so many
The fiend that fought my friends
Tonight I make my stand
Tonight, I face myself
