I haven't been here for a while, turned my attention to writing songs. This is a favaroute

Memory Lane

I am taking a walk down memory lane
These streets once filled with happiness, now draped in pain
How quickly the years they have passed me by
This world is ever changing and I don't know why

but these streets they don't smile anymore, anymore
And i would give up everything just to have the life i did before
And if these streets they could smile just once more, just once more
Then i would love, love the way did before, before I wanted more

These streets these people, so much has changed
Yesterday they were my heroes, now they seem strange
Why couldn't I be happy, why did i want more, wanted more
Now I am left alone fighting this internal war

but these streets they don't smile anymore, anymore
And i would give up everything just to have the life i did before
And if these streets they could smile just once more, just once more
Then i would love, love the way did before, before I wanted more

I am taking a walk down memory lane
i stand here the keeper of my own pain
