There is only one who can rescue me even in a dream.

Everywhere Savior

you are
only and ever
a shout
of your name
away

middle of night
in the monster's grip
should have been
a scarier trip
but for you.

my tears
curdle a
stillborn dream
dissolving
all but you

Something very comforting in these words. An anchor, a guide and a protector come through. Beautiful :)

Commentally Ill
excuse me, but could i borrow some of those corrosive tears of yours? i have a stuck drawer, and they look like they might do the trick.

Ah, this is difficult for me to comment on, as I worry about the form the monster took. But still, I love it. And I can completely relate. Some of mine have included giant arms bursting out of pictures on the wall to intervene, doors slamming shut, and even everything changing as I cried out. Yes, it's an awesome thing to personally know that saving power {even in our dreams}.
