An attempt at a Lillibonelle
but a poem about a special friend
and well!! love!!!

Beware My Foolish heart . by M.A.Meddings

Beware my Foolish heart
It is not safe to venture o'er
And if not wise yet too late
Return to me just once more

It is not safe to venture o'er
The line between her joy and pain
In helpless ecstacy you wandered
In hapless joy return again

And if not wise yet too late
Give of yourself a different love
That caring special joy of her
A friendship strong you both may prove

Return to me just once more
Again my foolish heart beware
Be glad within your love of her
Just show her that you truly care

This again proves you the master of this difficult art-form. I am well impressed by both you and your foolish heart. May it always always beat this way.

Wow! Mike! A Lillibonelle, And a romantic one too, I like the way you experiment with these different forms.

Your special friend is sure impressed, I know. But do you need to impress her? I am sure she is impressed with your poetic and other skills already. I know, I am!
I think I am going to write a Lillibonelle too; If for nothing, then the sheer beauty of the exotic name: "Lil-li-bo-ne-ll-e"!
I like it!!!...lol...
Love, xxx, Zoya
