Shawna

Sometimes I cut myself to see how much it bleeds,
She does it all the time thinking it's what she needs,
She is so disturbed and I hate that,
She stumbles around like a dumb cat,
But I would give my life for hers to be straight,
But I think that I came into her a life a little late,
But as long as she is walking,
You can count on me talking,
She is slowly pulling out of this loveless stage,
She went in as a lamb and is coming out a rage,
But I think if I keep telling her exactly how I feel,
She will have a reason not to take her life and kill,
So I tell her she beautiful and I love her so much,
And that I would do anything to feel her touch,
I have finally reached the point that she feels love for me,
But I must keep on steady for that has always been the key,
So I tell her I love her again and again,
Right now she is losing but she'll win.

This tells a beautiful story of commitment -your love never wavering despite this girls "loveless stage".
A wonderful piece - thank you for sharing!
