Things she had.
She had standards, she had rulesShe had no time to suffer fools
She had wealth, a home, and cars
She had friends who were movie stars
She had poise, she had grace
She had gowns of silk and lace
She had a smile so full of charm
She put needles in her arm
She had hopes, she had dreams
She had secrets, she had schemes
She had a fear... Of destiny
She had all that, and she had me
She had red shoes upon her feet
The night they found her on the street
She had a need, she had a crave
She had flowers on her grave.
