Autumn sun

Autumn sun shines gently through the rusty leaves
Beams of light caress me as I float upon the sea
No wooden being carry me, no ship of sticks and stone
There's nothingness beneath me, and nothingness above

Days go by like seconds, nights pass in between
Time holds no more meaning as I lay down on the streams
My body numb and tired, my mind longing to sleep
I know not where I'm going, and neither where I've been

This world is but of ashes, and love is built of clay
Now summerbreeze has come, to carry me away
Riding winds and roaming sky I leave this all behind
Searching heaven and her stars to find my peace of mind

Summer moon glows brightly somewhere beyond the haze
I travel through eternity, rolling with the waves
Clouds gather in masses, softly rain begins to fall
My soul is finally set free, my spirit's one with all
