Another 'Wednesday theory' poem -
something we were talking about that reminded
me of one of Zoya's poems.
Invading foreign lands
saying it's in the name of democracy
and that brutal dictators are to blame
all causers of wars should feel ashamed.
STOP! the needless bloodshed
the lost of innocent lives
and the hurt and pain caused
please to their suffering
open your goddamn eyes.
Suicide bombers killing in Religion's name
unexploded active mines left behind
for innocents to be killed or maimed
all causers of wars should feel ashamed.
STOP! the needless bloodshed
the lost of innocent lives
and the hurt and pain caused
please to their suffering
open your goddamn eyes.
All causers of wars should feel ashamed
for the innocents killed and suffering,
for they [war causers] are really the ones to blame.
.....Please stop the needless bloodshed.
