Music: Bon Iver - Perth
a balm to my soul
to my heart
Yet to live with everyday
seems to lead to feelings of shame and not being good enough
Like a gentle, sweet and soft song of peace
with an undertone of having to
work hard and challenge
myself
when part of me fights to stay idle and within my mind or some other
distraction
or to pour all my emotions into dramatizing a relationship
till it breaks
and the rest to grow and smile
- to let go and move onwards from everything in life that ever
scarred me
A balm to my life
a path to walk upon
a fence to help me draw the lines of the road I walk
a theory to understand, revel and grow within, and impart to others
A balm to my soul
a freeing emotion of a everlasting joy
a deeper understanding of reading the pulse of my life
a place to hide and find sanctuary
A balm to my heart
a soothing remedy that heals any scar
a forgiveness that can help me forget my mistakes
a calming hand that helps me know what emotions are right and real
and which are merely fleeting
Lay me down in these waters
so I can breathe again
