bliss
i kissed a button nose today
and got a squeal of glee
i held a tiny hand and felt
it hanging on to me
i played the ribs with unrivaled skill
musical laughter chimed
i wrapped my arms around my world
thankful and sublime
i looked into her little eyes
she gazed into my soul
never had i known delight
until i took this role
now i often ask myself
how can this miracle be?
she came into my life and then
she made a mom of me
