I think many of us "of a certain age" have said those words, a kind of acceptance come to us, a kind of wisdom about the nature of life and our passage through it. Always and even now we don't change so much as keep becoming who we would make of us.

Of course I could never claim the logic of Ikey irks me, could I?
As a corollary, could we claim, 'It isn't what it isn't?'
