Poetbay Blues
I wait for maybe,
I wait for words,
From you,
All of you,
Each one of you.
I wait for maybe,
Blue screen,
No envelopes,
White screen,
Funk.
I wait for maybe,
Another night,
And nada,
No letters from you,
Any of you.
I wait for maybe,
Discovered,
Uncovered,
Recovered,
Inlovered.
All of these are
Poetbay.
I wait for maybe,
One day,
These words,
Will be taught
To school children,
So they won't
Be afraid.
Afraid of the
Words of poets,
Like we were.
