Poetbay Blues

I wait for maybe,
I wait for words,
From you,
All of you,
Each one of you.

I wait for maybe,
Blue screen,
No envelopes,
White screen,
Funk.

I wait for maybe,
Another night,
And nada,
No letters from you,
Any of you.

I wait for maybe,
Discovered,
Uncovered,
Recovered,
Inlovered.
All of these are
Poetbay.

I wait for maybe,
One day,
These words,
Will be taught
To school children,
So they won't
Be afraid.

Afraid of the
Words of poets,

Like we were.

Quite an upbeat and poignant poem (esp that last stanza)

Well done Esti for writing how we all feel here!

*hugs*

.
I know the feeling :(
I also know I am one of the guilty ones who reads but forgets to make a comment.

Sorry
it is a very well written poem

You're a poet par excellance,
You should not have any blues,
I read every post of yours, and
Wait for things new, 'cause every
New 'bowl of soup', every 'bar of soap',
Acquires a new meaning, when it comes
Of your pen, so fear not my darling,
Just keep posting away, and I'll
Always be there for you,
Come whatever may!

(((((hugs Esti dear))))))
Love, xxx, Zoya

Hey I get those blues at times as well. I put out some works and they collect dust. Sometimes you have to bring them back reworked or added to other works to get the echoes back. Sometimes this site gets flooded ( in the good way ) with a lot of submissions. I have no expiration dates on my poems, I hope your's have no expiration date either.
