Me and Wordsworth

Me and Wordsworth,
We both love daffs.

I'm looking at my
Feisty bunch.
He, "A host of
Golden daffodils".

I know my kitchen
Isn't Windermere,
But the daffodil effect
Is blindingly the same.

A pleasant shock
To the senses.
A golden surprise,
A sharp breath
Of intoxication.

Simple beauty.
Ample beauty.
Classic beauty.

Daffodils make me smile and so does this :) You and Wordsworth are a good combination.

A lovely picture - I am lucky that I am surrounded by a sea of gold at present - in every hedgerow in those overgrown parts of the garden _ they are happy flowers aren't they :-)

I can see the similarities in your poet's mind.
A happy, upbeat poem. I like it.

So good to have you back with us , Esti. Hear the daff , are out in abundance , yellows and pale yelows , almost white. Wordsworth , would be so happy at the site of so many daffs out this year.

I can see the simple inspiration you've gotten from William Wordsworth. Keep it up!
