I wrote this poem in a 5 min. flurry.

Miss Treated

His pretentious exterior
A façade for the masses
A political likeness
Kept her at bay

He had a suburban
Point of view
Which bugged her
The fly on the wall
Of Satan's chamber

She wouldn't marry him
Despite his riches
From the poor

Down in the basement
She crept to find
God like secrets

His people
Stereotyped her

What They didn't know
Was that she lived wretchedly
Before their meeting
She had seen all sides
Crept to her open mind
When she couldn't
Tidy up his

Women were meant to do more
Than they suffer with now
Marry rich
You're never rich
Depending
