For Farzana Parveen, the 25 year old Pakistani woman murdered by "family" members...

Soul Sister

They bent over with twisted minds
And rose with one "AK"-ord
Armed with stones from stony-hearts
They severed family ties
Your blood was poured abroad
It travelled many paths....

Your foetus had no chance
To run, to play, to dance
They robbed you both of life
With your "Family" knife

May your blood fuel my pen and those of other men

F.i.in.e Moods The PoetBay support member heart!
I read about that horrible travesty on hers and her baby's life in the news recently, and my heart is so very sore beyond words to think people of this world go through such treatment... your words convey very well the pain and shame of this unthinkable crime.
