The closer the dance often the more fierce the fire beware then of dancing too close to the flame. The idea comes from a recent web site picture shown in an exhibition on this site

Dancing Much Too Close For Comfort by M.A.Meddings

Dancing Much Too Close For Comfort

By M.A.Meddings

You are dancing much too close for comfort
Your eyes are really taking hold of me
My heart increased its beating
Since the time of our first meeting
You are dancing much to close for comfort now

Was that a tender little touch upon my cheek
Was it caused by your lips don't you see
How I am smitten by your charms
Whilst you are here in my arms
We are dancing much too close for comfort now

Your lips are really much too close to mine
Would you mind if I kissed you lovingly
The softness of your skin
Has me defeated from within
You are dancing much too close for comfort now

If I tell you that I love you in a while
Would it be so very stupid of me then
It is the beauty of the night
Has me wondering if I might
Because we're dancing much to close for comfort now

But even if you don't love me like I do
I cannot help the fire that's within
It comes from my heart
It did right from the start
And we are dancing much too close for comfort now

Romantic :)

I'm not a romantic, sit down and talk-at-dinner type of person, but I can wildly imagine the wet, soft kiss against my cheek as we dance too close for comfort.

Good wirte, as per usual.

how appropriate to write of the dance, when your poetry "sings." Sweet, lovely, romantic of course. I sigh again. : ) kathy

Nobody else could write about romancing and dancing like the last romantic hero!
This one, in particular, could be the lyrics of a wonderful love song...
