Desolation

Such a bellowing trepidation
My choice of resignation
Or wander in the patient path
No matter.. it is intended and unfaltering

And I'm incessantly tied to this cage
Of how much I loathe our earth
But my stomach aches
As my anxious brain whispers
"Don't you dare abdicate".
