Over the expanse of time and place
A friendship's candle's saving grace
A space never further than a thought
Hopes and mem'ries costly bought

Here in this place of word and line
Reserved a splendid spot, divine
Each cheek a page filled with praise
Each eye hides an unforgotten phrase
