A picture of love in a storm.

Awake and Alive

Leaves and limbs falling as
the wind blows violently through
the trembling trees.
Highways and roadways turn
into ponds.
Thunder breaks the silence
of the night.
Lightning illuminates the dark sky.
Small objects turn into
weapons of mass destruction.
The wind and the water
both rush at the same time.
The room feels like a vacuum.
The air is hard to breathe.
The much exerted lovers cherish
the exotic moment.
The only light burning
snaps out!
The roof is trying to lift itself away!
Rain pounds the shaky walls!
The brave young lovers
secure in their love.
They welcome the rage of the storm!

Very well written. Love is a storm and throws your world around.

Very well (and wisely) done. Through the vivid description of the storm you allow us to imagine the passion of the lovers. Sometimes what we imply can be more powerful than what we say.
