This is the story of an old man trying to understand some truths concerning himself and the world.
No longer desiring contact with family or friends.
He felt no loneliness.
He felt no need for companionship, human being nor animal.
Early every morning he would sit on the river bank and watch the river rolling along. The river was an old man like himself.
From the river he caught fish. He'd cook them and eat them alone.
He sun bathed and slept good at night. He kept his clothes clean by washing them in the river and hanging them out in the sun to dry.
He was just an old man and he had a feeling that this was the time to find an way to get back in touch with himself.

The Touch of Time
