This is the story of an old man trying to understand some truths concerning himself and the world.

The Touch of Time

The old man lived in a cabin by the river. So satisfied in his state of solitude. Alone in his cabin by the river he had no telephone and his windows and doors were locked most of the time.
No longer desiring contact with family or friends.
He felt no loneliness.
He felt no need for companionship, human being nor animal.
Early every morning he would sit on the river bank and watch the river rolling along. The river was an old man like himself.
From the river he caught fish. He'd cook them and eat them alone.
He sun bathed and slept good at night. He kept his clothes clean by washing them in the river and hanging them out in the sun to dry.
He was just an old man and he had a feeling that this was the time to find an way to get back in touch with himself.

Such a great homage to the free, to the ones that connect with nature, the one that rejects material things and just knows the world by being in it

" The river was an old man like himself. "

Great words, great feeling, truth just.
