old man getting used to the aging process.
still cannot see very well.
The old man wears a strong hearing aid
but still cannot hear very well.
The old man cannot believe how much
things have changed since
the"Good 'ol Days" but all the memories
he has collected over the years help him
deal with being an old man in the world
he sees that is truly dedicated to the
very young.
He notices that they've cut down on
the size of cigars. They are not as
big as the ones he used to smoke when
he was smoking.
The car sizes are smaller, too.
And when he goes to the grocery store
to buy his food the packages seem to
contain more air than food.
The old man put out the lamplight.
Goes to bed and wonders what this
world is coming to
!
