story of a man who likes to take his time
ticking but he still would not rush himself.
It did not bother him
that everyone was moving faster than him.
His grandfather moved faster than him!
He wasn't trying to keep up.
Time was not trying to rush him
and he was not trying to rush time.
A crowd
of people were standing around him.
They wee pointing in the direction of
the clock. They wanted him to see
how fast the hands of the clock were
moving!
But he was not afraid
of time or its passage.
When it was time for him to become old
he would become old.
But he would refuse old age
while he was still very young.
Mister Whitehead
knew within his heart
that tomorrow would come
soon enough! He wouldn't have
to rush it.
Time and him had that understanding!
