The thrill of waiting for a special friend
Blue the shade of my disdain
As I wait in anxious moments hence
Until she comes to me again
The message flag doth hurt my eyes
As i watch for the colour change
from Blue to brilliant orange now
Those moments life will range
Sheer excitement for the joy of her
Invades my darkened room
I am glad to see my friend again
Who dispels my temporary gloom
