i'm keeping my eyes open

for the one

in doc martens listening to janis ian

with a knowing smile

 

on the sidelines

watching football composing lines

for her night

at the café opera slam

 

the one in bergen and i'll be there

with a sheaf 

of poems for the occasion

about love and life and how it all goes wrong
