nothing spared
nothing gained
everything permissible
few proven beneficial

whatever is true, 
whatever is noble, 
whatever is just, 
whatever is pure, 
whatever is lovely, 
whatever is admirable

---if anything is excellent 
        or praiseworthy---
think about such things
speak about these things.
