poem about intimate love.

Love

she doesn't wear his name,
but she wears
everything else!
she wears
his touch,
his smell, and his taste!
She has moved
into his space and he
has moved into hers!
They have unclothed themselves
and entered
each others universe!
They cling
to each other like
salt to sweat
dreaming of each other only
they are free as birds!

This is very good. You describe it very well indeed.

You are exactly right. That's how love is. :)

I suppose that in my old age I had become jaded, that there couldn't be anything in another love poem to move me, but I was wrong. It benefits from brevity yet each image is sensory and sensual, indeed an intimacy that takes me back years, especially "they cling / to each other like / salt to sweat." Really well done Dorsey.
