just a little children poem about Christmas

A Poem of Santa Claus and Christmas

Soft snowflakes
fall from the sky
turning the rooftop white
its a snowy night
when you're fast asleep
and unable to see
Santa will come and
place all your presents
under the Christmas tree
Then fast as can be
he'll dash away
before the morning comes
and its Christmas day!

I think when you are young there is nothing wrong with a bit of magic and wonderment. God knows later in life it is hard to find much to believe in. A nice piece indeed.

Brings to mind the excitement and wonder I felt when I was a kid and still believed that anything--even the most wonderful things--could happen. Thanks for this poem, which gave me a smile that will last all day.

A wonderful whimsical poem. Like Fog, I have grandchildren. And regretfully, they spend much too little time in the innocence of childhood these days. Social media making them too aware of the wrong things much too early.

I'm going to share this with my young grandchildren, with a little sadness on my part because in another couple of years they will no longer believe.
