ràn, norse goddess of the sea

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A1n

ràn's sweet sister

who cares about yesterday

when tomorrow is coming in with the tide

when you're out there

among the grey-green seas

among the wrack and rocks

among the heroes and gods

coming up short of breath

long on love and lore

grey rocks whitewashed with foamy surf

cold-cold world of grey and white

here, blue and white, waiting for you

my mama's quilt—what a world!

yesterday can melt for all i care

i have tomorrow, and i have you

I can almost taste the salt. Love that line "yesterday can melt for all i care."

A fine piece. Thanks for the Norse mythology lesson. Do you have a net to capture people as well?

Very brisk, full of wind and spray and optimism.

Who's Ràn?

I feel like I am surfing inside a huge wave that is coming down and crashing with huge foam sparkling on a blue sky. What an image of happiness and optimism! Beautiful. From the movie Ran?
