sunday morning




hey sleepyhead

 

i made coffee

the strawberries are good

i'm going for a run

i have my phone

i'll be back a couple hours

i feel like a long run

i feel like crawling back into bed

you look like candy

leave me a note if you go out

do you know i love you

A fine romance, but I wonder what's going on with the notes. The poem itself has the feel of a note and the note-writer is encouraging the partner to write a note if going out. Note to myself: Beware of cell phones and notepads.

Kidding, of course. It's delightful and suggests the lazy-hazy feel of a Sunday morning and two people deeply in love.

Oooohhhh ... I love Sunday mornings like that!! I would bring back the real paper-type Sunday paper, and hopefully there would be cream for those strawberries. Have a wonderful day, and crawl back into that bed after the run and shower. :)
